We are currently working with a world leading brand who manufacture homeware products who are based in Rochdale and are looking for a Site Manager, to manage the current team and site.


Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Production and Engineering Teams (65 headcount)
  • Manage Daily Production, Process and Performance Improvement
  • Provide Technical support for the day to day running of the Manufacturing facility
  • Responsible for driving the reduction in overall manufacturing costs
  • Manage Equipment Design & Maintenance team activity
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement tooling and equipment improvements
  • Identify and implemented new Technologies, including Specification of requirements, Capex justification, planning and implementation
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Safety and Quality guidelines
  • Support and developed the wider production/manufacturing engineering team
  • Review tooling, jigs and fixtures to constantly improve performance and minimise waste, change over times, etc.

The Person

  • Have appreciation of running a complex site
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Great communication between all departments
  • Performs LEAN Manufacturing
  • Previous experience within welding and assembling
  • Previous Management experience

Job Benefits
- £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum
