Hariley Solutions are currently seeking experienced Taper & Jointers to join our client's dynamic team in Telford. If you have a proven track record in Taping & Jointing and are looking for a new opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment, this role could be the perfect fit for you


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Sealing all joints between plasterboards
  • Preparing wall and ceiling surfaces for painting
  • Smooth out excess compound and ensure a seamless finish
  • Sand surfaces to prepare for painting
  • Repair and patch damaged areas
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment
  • Report all quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Elements Europe Risk Assessment and Procedures

Experience and Knowledge required:


  • Be able to work at heights e.g. using steps and Aframe ladders
  • Working at Height training certificate (preferred, but not essential)
  • Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions
  • Upselling skills are a plus
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
  • Ability to use hand tools e.g. scrapers, batch pans and 10" and 12" jointing boxes
  • Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
  • Taping and Jointing Certificate (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), is preferred but not essential
