REED Engineering are working alongside a service company to the Oil & Gas industry who are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to their team on a permanent basis.

This role is based in the Aberdeen area.

Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am (on rotation)

Hourly Rate:
£19p/hour, enhanced rates for shifts at 1.3x and 1.6x


Daily Duties -

  • Carry out repairs to production plant and equipment to ensure minimum downtime
  • Maintain a record of maintenance activities carried out
  • Fault finding and diagnose problems with production line equipment
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pumps and pneumatics systems
  • Experience of maintaining and servicing rotational machines
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Mechanical Maintenance NVQ/SVQ Level 3
