We are seeking an HLTA (or coach with equivalent experience) to provide quality sports lessons delivering the physical education curriculum across the whole school.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an encouraging, enthusiastic, and supportive approach and have experience of working with primary aged children.


We are looking for an HLTA (or coach with relevant experience) who:

  • Ensures safeguarding best practice.
  • Is motivated and determined to secure the best possible outcomes for all children.
  • Has excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and other staff.
  • Has the ability to provide rich and creative learning experiences.
  • Has personal philosophy which supports the values of the school.
  • An HLTA qualification or equivalent coaching qualifications
  • Has experience working with children in key stages 1 and
  • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Is proactive in arranging sporting events and fixtures.

  • The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children's Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children's services._
