If so, Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a Wigan based secondary school looking to recruit an ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join their internal support team.

  • Develop your practical experience working within a classroom setting and working alongside supportive staff members.
  • Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester.
  • Paying up to £85+ a day.

In a recent OFSTED report, the school was highly praised for the dedication to integrate children with challenging behaviour into school life in a positive and effective way.

Teachers are supported through a dedicated network of support staff to ensure all children are thriving and are happy in their school life.


About the role:

the schools are seeking a Learning Mentor who can provide in class support on a 1:1 and small group basis, working alongside the class teachers across multiple year groups.

Some cover responsibilities may also apply, in the absence of class teachers, full support will be provided.


Location:

based at the heart of Wigan, the setting is a 5-minute walk from local public transport links, including Bus, Tram, and Train.

There is also a free onsite car park for staff, located within expansive grounds, providing access to modern facilities and state of the art resources.


Salary:
£85.00-£90.00 per day
