Advocacy Specialist - London, United Kingdom - (ISC)2

Overview:
Position Summary:
This position is critical for a successful implementation of (ISC)2's advocacy strategy and plans in the UK and EU.
The Advocacy Specialist will support the implementation of wide-ranging policy activities, and contribute to the evolution of (ISC)2's advocacy programme, focused on the UK and EU.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of operational tasks to support the implementation of (ISC)2's advocacy plans in the UK and EU, which includes coordinating with MPs, government departments, and wider industry stakeholders
- Support vendor management, including contracting and invoicing
- Contribute to event planning and delivery
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Exams, and other internal teams on advocacy activities
- Contribute to policy monitoring and research,
- Coordinate a range of projects, for example, policy briefings, thought leadership, stakeholder engagement
- Prepare stakeholder briefings for senior leadership
- Support the development of conference presentations
- Input into the development of advocacy collateral and support on content creation
- Coordinate a wide range of projects to roll out advocacy plans
- Support with/manage administration, for example, meetings preparation, organising advocacy folders
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 23 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional communication verbal and written
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Experience of coordinating projects
- Knowledge of cybersecurity or information technology is desirable, but not essential
- Experience working with member associations or nonprofits a plus
