Roof Truss Estimator/Designer

We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Roof Truss Designer to become a leading part of a highly regarded, independent family run construction business.


We are looking for a talented and experienced designer to join the company in this exciting role which will combine the estimating and designing of roof trusses and engineered floor joists.


In addition to producing roof truss designs for manufacture using Mitek software, your role will include close liaison with your customers, responding to technical queries, producing accurate quotations and designs.

You will also have strong links with theproduction team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing.


You will be confident in offering technical advice and ensuring accurate and timely information is available to the manufacturing team.

You must achieve sales and margin targets.

**Roof Truss Designer Position Requirements:
- *
  • You have at least 5years experience in designing roof trusses or joists
  • You are familiar with specialist design software, ideally Mitek or similar
  • You are strong on detail and accuracy with excellent communication and project management skills, ideally with customers such as house builders, building contractors etc
  • You have relationships with buyers and/or technical departments of housebuilders
