Do you want to work in a role where you can make a real difference to pupils' lives every day?

We are seeking to appoint a colleague to join our pastoral team on a Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship which will last for 3 years.

At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be a qualified youth worker ready to work in a variety of roles

As a Youth Worker you will contribute substantially to the excellent climate for learning in our school.

You will be part of a child centred team and your work will involve you working closely with pupils and their parents.

You will be solution focussed and support pupils to overcome challenges and enable them to thrive.

You will develop close working relationships with the Progress Leaders and the other Pastoral Managers. Collaboratively, you will help pupils facing challenges to make good choices and develop good habits. You will work actively to improve pupils' attendance. You will also have involvement with safeguarding and contributing to Family Support Plans.

We believe in investing in people and offer exceptional opportunities for professional development for all our staff. We have a well-deserved reputation for the quality of the training we provide. We know that working together not only improves results but also reduces workload and our structures support this.

All our staff benefit from access to Health Assured Employee Support scheme, good value dining at lunch and ample parking.

We offer an annual free flu jab for anyone who wants one
