The Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced work
part-time HR leader to join our team and play a crucial role in our future growth ambitions.

This new and progressive role will be at the heart of our transformation and change agenda.

It will develop our people and talent strategy, strengthen our employer brand, drive engagement and process improvement and overall, positively progress our HR services enabling our employees to contribute to our continued commercial success.


This
hybrid role is based between central London and home, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Senior leadership team.

This role is hands-on, performing the full range of transactional and strategic activities to shape our people strategy and align with our culture, values, and ambitious growth objectives.

As a relatively small company enjoying sustained expansion, this role has the opportunity and flexibility to expand and grow.


Responsibilities

Strategic Vision and Leadership

  • Craft and align a people strategy that resonates with our company's culture and values providing a clear vision of HR.
  • As a Senior Leadership Team member, contribute actively to wider leadership efforts, building capability and engagement.
  • Ensure the HR strategy provides appropriate progressive processes, incentives and mechanisms to deliver an effective framework to drive TPGC towards our goals
  • Ensure that appropriate policies are implemented around diversity and inclusion, equality, Corporate Social Responsibility and wellbeing.
  • In partnership with the Senior Leadership Team provide active direction on HR issues, such as reward, employee relations, talent management, performance management, organisational change and development, culture, leadership learning and development.
  • Lead the delivery of people objectives, projects and strategic HR plans.
  • Review and refine the HR function as the company expands, recommending improvements to the HR function and resourcing model.
  • Lead organisational design, change management, and engagement activities.

Resourcing and Recruitment

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies that align with TPGC growth and culture.
  • Oversee the recruitment life cycle, ensuring efficient processes, inclusivity and target top talent.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to understand their hiring needs, creating job descriptions and profiles.
  • Lead organic recruitment activities reducing reliance on employment agencies.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by implementing market leading recruitment processes.
  • Onboard new hires effectively, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our values and expectations.

People Management and Talent Development

  • Ensure the delivery of core training and develop career paths and opportunities within our company.
  • Challenge and coach business leaders on how to engage employees, address people issue and build capabilities effectively
  • Prepare effective resources, talent and success plans and coaching where needed.
  • Review, update and where necessary develop and implement reward and recognition incentives
  • Develop and implement performance management strategies that align to TPGC's objectives and culture.
  • Establish clear criteria and performance indications for all role within TPGC.Work closely with managers to define performance metrics and expectations for each role.
  • Ensure that employees receive regular and timely feedback through onetoone meetings, and performance review meetings.
  • Assist managers with the preparation and delivery of constructive feedback, setting clear and achievable development plans.
  • Monitor progress on individual development goals, providing support, coaching and resources as needed.
  • Analyse data from performance reviews and identify areas for improvement and organisational development.
  • Collaborate with the SLT to integrate performance reviews into broader HR strategies, such as talent management, succession planning and compensation.
  • Ensure performance management practices are consistent, transparent, and fairly applied across the organisation.
  • Act as a coach and guide to business leaders on employee engagement, people issues, and capabilitybuilding.

Compliance and Legal

  • Monitor legislative changes, plan proactively, and implement measures to ensure compliance.
