Laundry Assistant Position
We are currently looking to recruit a Laundry Assistant to join our team at Telford Court Care Home.
At Telford Court we are committed to providing the highest level of care and support to our residents. We care for people who have dementia and mental health problems.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF POST_
To efficiently manage the laundering of clothes and linen
To ensure the laundry is identified for the correct loading of washer (s) and dryer (s)
To observe the correct use and care of equipment reporting promptly any defects in machinery or materials.
To take a personal responsibility in becoming fully aware and observant of the Companies Health and Safety Policy, reporting any accidents and hazards.
To carry out tasks delegated by the Manager/Domestic Supervisor.
To participate in staff meetings as requested and attend all relevant training sessions.
To provide assistance to other staff as directed by Nurse in Charge or Home Manager.
To assist in ensuring the security of all service users and the premises through the observance of security procedures and the challenging of any strangers in the home.
As a Laundry Assistant you are the face of Inspired Life Care Limited and therefore should be suitably uniformed at all times.

Shift times for the position are 6pm - 10pm._
Applicants _
MUST _be available to work every other weekend.
