We are working with a leading container haulage company who have recently opened a new Suffolk hub based on the out skirts of Ipswich.

Our client run 50+ owned vehicles across all UK Ports.

Due to the continued growth of our clients' operations with a newdepot, new vehicles, trailers and investment in their staff, they are now looking to recruit a Night Shift Operations Supervisor.

If you are self-motivated, dedicated with the desire to succeed, improve operations and able to offer the following we would love to talk with you.

Experience:

Experience running a busy transport office
Have a high level of communication skills
The ability to build excellent relationships with drivers, suppliers and customers
Problem solve and possess traffic planning skills
Be able to operate systems such as Destin8, TOP's, Port VBS systems.

The role:

Updating customers and handling all service issues
Dealing with all fitters and suppliers for overnight maintenance issues
Ensuring the most costeffective solution while ensuring total compliance and adherence to legislation
Dealing with all agency drivers and ensuring relevant compliance checks are completed
Updating of all relevant systems
Ensuring the security of the depot is maintained and health and safety guidelines are followed
