Job Title:
Logistics Team Leader (Late Shift)


Role Overview:


The Logistics Team Leader will coordinate all operational tasks across a busy logistics despatch operation on a daily basis, working the 14:00 to 23:30 shift.


Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on

  • Providing direction, instruction and guidance to colleagues. Managing day to day task allocation
  • Managing resource to ensure all areas are resources and equipped to meet business requirements
  • Interpreting data to support key functions and departmental improvement
  • Ensuring all safety inspections are complete and up to date
  • Communicating clear instructions to colleagues in the team and relevant stakeholders
  • Carrying out individual 121 sessions and coaching/feedback to colleagues

Your previous experience is likely to include.

  • Leading a highperforming, multiskilled team
  • Working on projects and within a manufacturing environment
  • Working with a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
  • Demonstrable problem solving experience

To be successful in this role you will

  • Possess excellent commercial awareness
  • Hold basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Have a sound understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Be experienced using and implementing Continuous Improvement tools
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Be able to provide tangible and workable solutions, while proactively working in a crossfunctional manner
  • Adhere to Company Core Values at all times
