RGIS Payroll Administrator (UK & ROI)

Location:
RGIS Head Office, Trinity Park, Birmingham


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week.

A hybrid module of home/office working will be available after the initial training period but at least 2 days each week will be office based.


RGIS are excited to be able to offer the position of
Payrol Processor (UK & ROI) in our payroll team.

Reporting directly to the
Payroll Supervisor the
Payroll Processor will be responsible for delivering the timely and accurate payment of hourly employee wages in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

They will also be responsible for reporting information to the RGIS Finance Department and external bodies as required.

The Role
Ø Assisting District Offices with Sheffield administration associated with payroll input.

Ø Entering tax details for new starters.

Ø Processing leavers (P45's etc.).

Ø Processing annual leave requests.

Ø Processing Statutory Payments and maintaining records.

Ø Processing bi-weekly payroll runs using Pegasus & Quantum Software systems.

Ø Dealing with employee payroll queries (directed via District Office).

Ø Processing correspondence for the Inland Revenue / Benefits Agency etc.

Ø Upkeep of tidy and accessible archive records.

Ø Keeping up to date with current legislation.

Ø Payroll qualifications CIPP or similar

Ø Strong payroll processing background.

Ø Sound knowledge of compliance to legal requirements of payroll for both UK and Ireland.

Ø Able to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines.

Ø Self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative.

Ø Basic understanding of accounting.

Ø Attention to detail with a neat, methodical and professional approach to work.

Ø Good communicator, able to deal with all levels of the business.

Ø Team player.

Ø Good computer skills - preferred knowledge of Quantum & Pegasus Opera

Ø Good Excel skills.

Ø Verbal and written English.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
