37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8.30 am pm

Department overview:


The primary function of the Quality Assurance Unit is to monitor procedures, facilities and studies for compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.


To facilitate effective monitoring, it is necessary for QA to be independent and are therefore not involved in the conduct of the regulatory studies.

QA inspect study procedures, laboratory processes and audit facilities on a regular basis.

In addition, every study report produced by the company is audited by QA for accuracy, completeness and overall compliance with GLP.

QA act as a central source of information on the GLP regulations and requirements and are always happy to offer advice and guidance on these matters.

The Company GLP training programme is organised and presented by QA staff.


Role description:


Your training will focus on becoming proficient in the planning, conduct and reporting of inspections and report audits in order to assure that the studies are conducted in compliance with GLP.

In time, you will also be involved in the audit of facilities, computer systems, suppliers and sub-contractors.


You must have an interest in life sciences and its advantageous to have had some work experience in a preclinical environment.

You will have an eye for detail, be able to focus on your own work but also have the ability to support the team's objectives and have well developed communication skills.
