Job Title:

Senior Project Professional - Site & Facilities


Location:
Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements


Salary:
Circa £40k, dependant on skills & experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Monitoring performance and conducting inspections of construction site activities
  • Managing, monitoring, and controlling construction and engineering project activities and schedules
  • Capture and review all requirements associated with projects and ensure all impact assessments are conducted and identified as appropriate
  • Maintaining project documentation, identifying, and expediting actions to respond to issues and deviations from contract
  • Supporting the resolution of problems and issues to facilitate development of timely and effective solutions
  • Daytoday management of Principal and Sub-Contractors throughout construction phases of projects
  • Appraising method statements and risk assessments, incorporating input from key stakeholders
  • Facilitating design reviews, aspect and impact assessments and regular project meetings throughout the duration of projects
  • Controlling, monitoring, and managing projects through site implementation phase

Your skills and experiences:


Essential

  • Experience of using Project Management & Planning processes
  • Experience of Health and Safety/Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations
  • Experience in collaborating across functions and wider teams Contractual, commercial and/or financial acumen

Desirable

  • Qualification in Construction or Engineering or Project Management
  • Health and Safety Management Qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH)

The Site & Facilities Major Projects Department team:
You will have the opportunity to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic project team.

You will have the freedom to make decisions over the delivery of a wide variety of construction, engineering and civil related projects for the refurbishment and construction of existing and new facilities across an extensive industrial site, with budgets ranging from £5k to multi-million.
