Responsibilities
Kier Eastern are recruiting for an experienced
Estimator to join the passionate team in the Eastern and Midlands region.
With our diverse portfolio of projects, we are looking for a Senior Estimator who has a passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a good and healthy team environment.
We understand this approach is essential to ensure quality finished projects within budget and on time for our clients.You will be working on a portfolio of projects ranging from education to commercial, leisure, healthcare in the value of £5m - £60m.
Your day to day will include:
- Prepare estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with venders and subcontractors.
- Managing prequalification and prebid submissions
- Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline
Who are we looking for?
- You will be experienced in our portfolio of projects with good technical construction knowledge.
- Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards
- Excellent research, proposal writing and oral presentation skills
