Salary - Grade 4: Liverpool £26,480 - £29,699
The People and Culture team at the Royal College of Physicians are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join us as a People and Resourcing Officer (Payroll focus) in our Liverpool Office.
The post holder will support the resourcing team establish the function in Liverpool by delivering resourcing and people services to the RCP, whilst supporting the wider People team in both London and Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Liverpool site working close collaboration with the People and Culture team in London.
Responsibilities
As the People and Resourcing Officer (Payroll focus), you'll be working to support a busy People team focusing on recruitment.
You'll be an integral part of the People team leading on recruitment operations including running cost-effective recruitment campaigns, advising managers on recruitment best practice and looking to continuously improve our processes.
You will work closely with the People Partner - Resourcing Lead to deliver the recruitment strategy and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
You will support in delivering all recruitment related process.You will need to be able to manage competing priorities, work to a high level of accuracy, respond positively to changing demands and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.
About you
This is a fast-paced role focussing on resourcing and People operations including running cost-effective recruitment campaigns, advising managers on recruitment best practice, and looking to continuously improve our processes.

You will also have:
- CIPD qualified to Level 5 or equivalent relevant experience and the ability to demonstrate the level of skills and knowledge required for the role
- Experience using HRIS and ATS
- Awareness of recruitment assessments and best practice in this area
- Working knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Working in a fastpaced environment and taking a proactive approach to work
- Providing a high level of customer service to internal clients and ability to build rapport quickly across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to prioritise your own workload and completing tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Strong administrative skills, high attention to detail, able to work under pressure effectively and work flexibly responding to changing demands and priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
- Responding to customer feedback and driving an agenda of positive improvement
- Knowledge or understanding of analytics
