Role and Responsibilities


Join CAE's Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring team as
Systems Specialist Controller (Centrik) at our Flight Training Centre in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

You will be assisting in the implementation of a Global framework for a centralized Safety, Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring system to enhance compliance and safety and give accurate, timely and pertinent data that will help guide and shape strategic decisions and the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management decision making process.


The role we are offering you


The role is focused on the management, customization and operational efficiency of the Centrik IT Management System within the framework of Safety, Quality Assurance, and Compliance Monitoring (SQA&CM) ensuring the system's reliability, training and supporting users globally and aligning the system's functionalities with business needs.

You will be integrating new tools and technologies and co-ordinate effectively with global and regional teams to ensure our strategic objectives for safety and compliance monitoring are met.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Administer the system's daily operations, ensuring high availability and mínimal downtime.
  • Implement regular system checks to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Ensure optimal performance of the system, manage updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability across all operational areas.
  • Coordinate with the system provider and internal IT infrastructure teams to ensure the system's security and data integrity.
  • Customize the system's modules and workflows to precisely fit the organizational needs and processes.
  • Provide input to the ongoing development and improvement of Centrik structured training programs, tailored for different user groups within the organization, from basic to advanced levels.
  • Deliver training, as required, in coordination with the QA&CM Standardization Officer.
  • Create user manuals, FAQs, and tutorial videos to support the training.
  • Offer tiered support levels, resolving systemrelated queries and ensure users are proficient in utilizing the system to its full potential.
  • Analyze systemgenerated data to identify and forecast trends, areas for improvement and uncover insights into operational use and efficiency.
  • Utilize analytics tools to identify potential areas of compliance risk.
  • Present findings in clear, actionable reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvements.
  • Has previous experience working with a fully functioning Integrated Safety, Quality Assurance and Compliance Management System for Training Organisations or Airlines.
  • Has preferably experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems control or Aviation administration roles related field, and proven experience with Centrik IT System Management or similar QMS/Compliance software.
  • Has working level knowledge of ICAO, Transport Canada, FAR, CASA, EASA and other NAA regulations relating to Safety, Quality Assurance, Training and Operations.
  • Must be able to analyze complex Safety, Technical and Operational events and then develop and make sound recommendations that satisfy to the extent possible all stakeholders, including regulators, OEMs, operators, pilots, training organizations, etc.
