Fixed Term Contract - 0.5 FTE

Salary:

Grade 5 salary is £36,583 - £40,389 per annum including London Weighting

The pro rata salary for this role is £18,291 - £20,194 per annum including London Weighting

Key aspects of the role include:
Liaising around conference operations, working with technical director, festival director, and conference steering committee.

Preparing and managing space, tech, and assistants' schedules.

Oversee individual budgets, report on spends, and help with registration setup, contracting, and negotiation of in-kind resources.

Support conference director to organise social events, working closely with industry partners.

Arranging for keynote travel/contracts, catering, and volunteer management.

Booking technical equipment and managing accessibility requirements.

Participating in the call for papers, the selection process, and the overall conference schedule.

Leading on the website and online platform content (working with designers), conference package, print.

Liaising with publishers on sponsorship opportunities.

Working closely with the Research Services funding team and liaising with the School's financial management team.
