We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Systems Administrator.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role, providing support for our Estates Facilities Management software and ensuring it evolves to meet the dynamic needs of our users.

Every day will be interestingly different as you will be working with talented people across the University.


The role is primarily focused on development, support and maintenance of an Integrated workplace management system (Planon) and other solutions supporting the delivery of services to the department and wider University.

This specialized role is pivotal in the continual expansion of utilizing IT solutions to manage, secure and control buildings across the University.

To Be Successful You'll Need:


  • Relevant degree or equivalent with relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading a small technical team.
  • Strong technical skills, including a good understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with software suppliers.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analysis and problemsolving skills.
  • Understanding and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong teamwork, approachable, and helpful attitude.
