Description
How would you like to work for a very well-established company based in Glasgow (Gorbals area)? With day shifts available on a fixed rota plus immediate starts, permanent job opportunities, and an onsite canteen this is a fabulous offering for experienced Logistics Admin Assistant

This role is based in Glasgow (Gorbals) 10 min away from the city centre.


Working pattern:

8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday
8.30am - 4.30pm Friday


30 mins for lunch Pay Rate:


£9.90ph Daily Duties:

To accurately process customer orders via Sage and ensure they are invoiced on a daily basis
To ensure all filing is carried out correctly
To ensure advice notes are distributed to the relevant areas
Arrange for all deliveries to be booked in
Daily liaising with Logistics Management on product availability and priorities
Checking and reporting all items flagged as out of stock and liaising with Logistics & Production Management or the Purchasing Department
Arrange for carriers orders to be communicated to them
To provide the department with an administrative service as required Key Capabilities:
Good computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport with customers, delivery companies and all colleagues across the organisation
Good communication skills & telephone manner
Excellent planning and organisation skills to manage own workload to expected standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to complete the daily workload
Requires minimum supervision with a proactive approach
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow direction and work within agreed parameters
Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team and the customer
Good listening skills
