About the role


Reporting into the CMO, the Head of Marketing Operations will play a key role in growing and scaling our global business.

Core responsibilities include operating and continuously optimising the end-to-end SDR and marketing technology stack, financial planning and management across the marketing team, enabling strategy planning and rhythm of business.

The role is global with an emphasis towards North America, United Kingdom and Ireland.


Location:
Flexible within the UK.

The vast majority of our people work flexibly in a hybrid model, working from home with regular attendance at one of our Learning Pool offices (Derry, Nottingham, Oxford, Belfast or Glasgow).


What you will be doing

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Attracting, Retaining and

Developing Talent:
Develop and build an industry leading marketing operations team. Promote certifications and develop proficiency into core marketing technologies.

  • Marketing Planning and Budgeting: Manage and oversee the endtoend marketing budget, including vendor management, monthly forecasting within 2% accuracy ranges and monthly reconciliation of all marketing investments. Partnering handinglove with finance.
  • Oversee the ongoing refinement of our targeting including ownership of our

ICP:

Work closely with product marketing to ensure our database has the right number of marketable target personas for each account, both above and below the power line.


  • Define and continuously improve the entire lifecycle journey from target through customer advocate: Enable systems to measure each stage of our journey. Identify areas of strength and opportunity.
  • Rhythm of Business: Design and lead rhythm of business, including monthly scorecards and reports, quarterly business reviews with key functional teams (product, sales, finance, HR) and board level reporting.
  • Own and drive the quarterly and annual marketing planning process ensuring marketing's strategic objectives are aligned with business goals.
  • Operate and Optimise Paid Digital Advertising including SEM (Google, Bing), Paid Social (LinkedIn), ABM advertising (ie 6Sense, Terminus, DemandBase) & retargeting to ensure every target account and associated persona's grows in awareness of Learning Pool.
  • Website & Social: Partner with our communications and content team to publish, measure and optimise our website and social media handles to build authority and industry leadership in our buyer journey.

Person Events:
Supporting the broader team, enable and support owned as well as 3rd party event execution.

Including registrations, badge scanning tools and processes, virtual webinar execution, attendee list data capture and cleansing, post event follow up.


  • Marketing Analytics & Insights: Partnering with revenue operations and product marketing, analyse account and contact data across prospects and customers to fuel campaigns, increase performance and enable storytelling. Deliverables include TAM, Whitespace, Marketshare, Campaign Lists and insights to ongoing strengthen ICPs and Personas.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Implement and execute multitouch attribution measurement across paid campaigns, SEO, SEM, owned and 3rd party events, PR, networking, SDR cadences and more enabling optimisation as well as reporting to executive management and board (

LTV:
CAC, revenue engine efficacy). Partner hand-in-glove with revenue operations.

  • Compliance: Audit and strengthen global compliance for all our marketing programs to drive better outcomes for our customers and our business; including GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM and more.
