Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and collect data for mapping purposes
  • Use surveying instruments and equipment to measure distances, angles, and elevations
  • Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, and records of survey data
  • Perform calculations and analysis of survey data using CAD software
  • Assist in the preparation of maps, plats, and legal descriptions
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide surveying support during project development and construction phases
  • Ensure compliance with surveying standards, regulations, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in land surveying or a related role
  • Proficiency in data management and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
  • Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and procedures
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS or other GIS software is a plus
  • Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations and measurements
  • Ability to interpret maps, legal descriptions, and engineering plans
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
