Events & Weddings Coordinator

Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and coordinate various events such as conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate meetings etc.
  • Conducting event show rounds and planning meetings on site at The Landmark.
  • Close liaison with the Hotel Ops team throughout the planning of larger events.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for the event
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors and all other stakeholders to ensure all services are delivered as agreed.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs according to plan.
  • Updating Events Calendar and keeping event blocks accurate to ensure correct availability for all other rooms for reservations to sell.
  • Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event.
  • Conduct postevent evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement

Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Similar experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & PMS for event planning purposes

Pay:
£27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
