Events & Weddings Coordinator
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate various events such as conferences, weddings, parties, and corporate meetings etc.
- Conducting event show rounds and planning meetings on site at The Landmark.
- Close liaison with the Hotel Ops team throughout the planning of larger events.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for the event
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors and all other stakeholders to ensure all services are delivered as agreed.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything runs according to plan.
- Updating Events Calendar and keeping event blocks accurate to ensure correct availability for all other rooms for reservations to sell.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event.
- Conduct postevent evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Similar experience is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite & PMS for event planning purposes
Pay:
£27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
