Job Overview
Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.
Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
Main Duties
- To undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role
- Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
- To lead the cleaning team ensuring all scheduled jobs are completed on time and to standard. To cover all absences/holiday by using additional labour/hours and not exceeding the budget
- To deal with all complaints quickly and efficiently and report immeadiately to the Supervisor or SSM.
- To report any maintenance defects and raise with the help desk
- Responsible for the management and correct use of all equipment and PPE within your team
- Report on a daily/shift basis to person of authority
- Assisting the Supervisor with operational organisation in absence and complete return to work forms and one to one meetings
- To asssit the Supervisor with staff inductions, site inductions and produce and carry out each individuals training needs for your team members
- To complete scheduled Audits on time when the Supervisor is absent or on annual leave
- Ensure you & your teams operate within Mitie's code of conduct and QSHE at all times
- In the supervisors absence, order materials as required for your team tasks
- Ensure all daily check sheets are signed and dated
- Be available to be flexible in terms of shift patterns, this will includes days and weekends.
- Ensure staff hours of work are accurate
- To attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
What we are looking for
- Cleaning experience is preferred however training can be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with positive disposition
- Good degree of written and spoken English
- Willing to take on training that could benefit yourself and the business needs
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Be flexible in approach to work load
- Excellent customer liaison skills together with a commitment to customer service
- Uses own initiative where appropriate
- Works harmoniously with others and treats all with dignity and respect
