Full-time, Long-term (until the end of the academic year)
Pay Range:
£ £100.00 per day (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Previous childbased experience
- DBS on the update service
- A positive and patient attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and parents/guardians
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
- Provide oneonone and small group support to students with learning challenges, ensuring they can fully participate in all aspects of school life
- Assist the class teacher in creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, tailored to the needs of individual students
- Support students in their academic progress, providing guidance with assignments, homework, and exam preparation
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student wellbeing and personal development
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies for student progress and achievement
- Utilise your previous childbased experience to empathise and connect with students, building strong and supportive relationships
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as necessary
