About the role
This role is the primary owner of the Credit Control and cashflow reporting.

The Credit Controller will be responsible for following up unpaid invoices and resolving queries from customers, to make it easy for them to pay on time.

The role provides an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing tech company in the radiotherapy industry.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Establish a relationship and develop rapport with customer Accounts Payable Teams
  • Developing / producing Aged Debtor Reporting in Sage and Analytics
  • Management of aged Debtors, with appropriate escalation of unpaid debt
  • Ensuring that the sales ledger payments are posted to cashbook
  • Assist Financial Controller with Cashflow Reporting analysis and forecasting.
  • Understanding of Sales Ledger contracts
  • Assist Sales Ledger Supervisor in managing inbound customer queries
  • Assist Sales Ledger Supervisor in allocating cash to the correct accounts and contracts.
  • Collecting cash and resolving any customer queries
  • Assisting Sales Ledger Supervisor reconciling transactions to account statements
  • Providing support to the Finance Director, Finance Controller and Finance Manager
  • Providing cover for Sales Ledger supervisor during holidays and sickness
  • Other cover as required.

Essential Skills & Experience:


  • 2+ years' experience of working as a credit controller, with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to resolve customer queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to build rapport and strong working relationships.
  • Can do attitude and confidence in working with customers/ sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative in solving problems.
  • Good organizational skills with ability to prioritise
  • Good excel skills to formula level

Desirable skills & experience:


  • Exposure to foreign entities
  • Experience using Sage 200
  • Sales Ledger knowledge
  • Bank reconciliation knowledge
  • Payroll knowledge
