Description
Calderglen House is an addictions rehab in South Lanarkshire.

We have 24 ensuite rooms for people with alcohol and drug problems who are getting help to get back on track in their lives.

We have a wide skill mix in our team including full time on site nurse and support worker. A lot of our staff have their own lived experience of addiction but not all. We also have a Consultant Psychiatrist, CBT therapist, OT, Yoga instructor and Music therapist and animal care. Recently we have also have a pharmacist working with us.

This post is for a Senior Support Worker to do day shifts.

Person must have medication training/experience and ideally SVQ 3 or above. You would be expected to administer medication using our electronic MAR system.


You do not need previous experience of working in addictions and we would also consider those with experience in a more traditional care facility such as a care home.


You MUST be a car driver as part of job role can be supporting residents to appointments such as at the job centre, supermarket and recovery meetings.

Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • High Blantyre, G729UG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
