Description

London Based Boutique Investment Bank seek a FIX Application Support Engineer. Front Office Production Support for two busy Trading Desks (Cash & Algo/Program Trading). Solid working experience with FIX protocol and FIX Gateway Infrastructure. Solid experienceof Fidessa or similar Order management Systems. Experience with Electronic Trading Client Connectivity (FIX) and FIX Certification; Algorithmic interface design; and analyzing message formats and output. Understand FIX business requirements from Institutionalclients/brokers, discuss and organize physical connectivity. Some Perl or other scripting experience. Sybase & SQL Knowledge to develop queries to extract data from SQL Databases.

This is a Trader facing role, you must have the ability to work under pressureand manage conflicting priorities and deadlines with proficient in Equity Brokerage Trading and Middle/Back Office Operations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. On-going support of ElectronicDesk Trading systems (Inforeach TMS, Smart Order Router). Support of Electronic Global FIX gateway /infrastructure and connections to exchanges and client connections. Hybrid working £70-90,000 + Bonus and Benefits
