We have an exciting, new opportunity for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and committed individual to springboard their career in public health.

The successful applicant will take up a Public Health Facilitator role and will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in North Lincolnshire.


The facilitator will work in the dynamic and supportive Public Health team and will be asked to support a range of programmes including the Healthy Weight and Children and Young People Health and Wellbeing agendas.


The post holder will be work alongside Public Health Managers and will be a key member of the 0-19 yrs Health and Wellbeing, Sexual Health, Healthy Weight Public Health Team.

About you


We are looking to recruit someone with a degree in a Public Health related field or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills or experiences in either a public health or community development position.


You will have an extensive and excellent track record of implementing public health programmes in a range of settings, along with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

You will need to have a proven track record of partnership working with a range of statutory and voluntary agencies.


You must be a self-starter who can work well within a team, prioritising their own workload and sometimes needing to meet tight deadlines.

Communication skills are vital, we are looking for someone who can change their approach depending on who they are working with, both verbally and in writing.


Other skills and experience require for the post holder include project management skills, an understanding of epidemiology and statistics with the ability to analyse, interpret and present clearly key data.
