The job itself:


This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at The Hub School as an Outreach Practitioner, supporting The Hub School and their partnering schools in the delivery of outreach support, the post holder will deliver early behaviour support intervention for identified students.

The working hours are from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term.

You will also be paid for an additional 35 hours per year, to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours.

Your actual salary will be £21,110 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.

What are we looking for?


We are looking for an individual who has a good standard of education including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/5 or equivalent; experience of working with students with social, emotional, personal and/or behavioural needs; the ability to relate effectively to students, their parents/carers and professionals working with them; and the ability to visit the young people in schools in our region.


The nature of the role requires driving to various provision to support student learning; therefore the use of a car is essential.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required prior to appointment.
