Empowering Learning are pleased to be hiring for an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to be based at an outstanding primary school in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.


Duties:


  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including autism & ADHD.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for students where needed.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:


  • Passionate about supporting children with their learning.
  • Transferable skills or direct experience from working in Education/Childcare.
  • Have a good knowledge of Special Educational Needs/Learning Disabilities.
  • Have a DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Have relevant Safeguarding training, or be willing to complete
