Staffordshire Community Mental Health service provides an integrated, personalised, recovery focused service, to local people of working age who may be experiencing significant and disabling mental health difficulties.

We are supported by strong partnerships and work in collaboration with partner agencies, both statutory and non-statutory adhering to the "One Staffordshire" ethos which enables Staffordshire wide partnerships to support the people who live in the county.


Assistant Navigators are core members of our team working closely with Advanced Social Work Practitioners and Social Workers under the supervision of the Social Inclusion and Personalisation Pathway Lead, Personalisation and Social Inclusion Navigators and Senior Navigators.

Our social care staff all work collaboratively with our Health colleagues and are valued and respected members of the Health and Social Care workforce.

You will operate within legislative frameworks, such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, along with other relevant legislation and guidance, offering support based on clearly defined National eligibility criteria to adults and carers.

This post is based in the North Staffordshire area.
