Clifton, Bristol with regular travel to Margaret's Buildings, Bath (expensed)

Hours: 2 days per week + holiday cover as needed. This will include 3 weekends per month.

Based in Bristol, Brighton, London and Bath, Hidden Galleries sell hand-signed and original work by the major artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries, alongside work by leading contemporary and urban artists.

Our stock includes lithographs, prints, drawings, and original work by:
Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Dali, Miro, Warhol, Hockney, Banksy and many more.

About the Gallery Associate Role
Hidden opened its latest gallery in Bath in November 2021 which is run by our Bristol sales team.

However, due to exceptional demand, Hidden are now seeking a confident, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic salesperson to join our sales team to assist in the smooth operation of both galleries.

Previous experience in a sales role is preferred, along with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and a passion and knowledge for art from 20th & 21st Century, Banksy to Picasso.

Day to day you will be helping the Bristol team in both galleries, from opening / closing procedures to taking care of the artwork and ensuring the galleries always look their absolute best.

Reporting to the Senior Manager for Bristol & Bath, you will be developing the galleries, identifying opportunities to grow the client base, whilst offering exceptional customer service, helping to host private events, and ensuring the galleries are well-presented.

About you
Driving license preferred.

Confident and with an ability to share knowledge enthusiastically and effectively.

You will be a commercially minded person, with a keen interest in art and the art market (specifically C20th

• C21st masters) and a strong desire to learn more.

I.T. skills and organised.

Flexible approach to working days.

Friendly and approachable manner.

Excellent communicator.

Proactive attitude and excellent work ethic. You will be a self-motivated individual who understands how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships.

Eager to research and learn about the art we sell.

Articulate and well mannered, with excellent written English.
