An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Hospital to provide an oversight for clinical aspects of the configuration, and ongoing development, training and support of the digital systems within Maternity Services.


Hampshire Hospital successfully implemented BadgerNet in May 2021 to provide a common, digital maternity record across SHIP to support transformation of maternity care in line with the Better Births strategy.

You will represent the maternity department and trust to outside agencies, including the LMNS and CCG's and act as a positive role model.


The post holder will report to the Lead digital midwife and be a core member of the digital team working both on your own or in collaboration with others, within HHFT Maternity services and other divisions.

Where required supporting the care group and its division in embedding BadgerNet the new digital maternity system.


You will be responsible for providing clinical user support by providing tailored training sessions according to need for all staff groups which will include midwives, nurses, Dr's student midwives MSw's, Nursery Nurses.

You will help with arranging training sessions and the updating of training material, user guides and videos to keep in line with national updates and communicate all changes effectively if required.

Working on all 3 sites to provide support and helping identify and resolve user issues. You will collaborate with the IT helpdesk and the supplier Clevermed when needed. You will maintain a high profile in the clinical area and be accessible to all staff.
