Job summary

  • As a Vice President you will be part of a high performing team. Your role will include all aspects of financial reporting for a variety of fund structures, including preparation and/or review of management accounts, financial statements, calculations and ad hoc tasks. You will be expected to build and sustain excellent relationships with colleagues and staff and help achieve our mission of delivering excellent client service.

  • Assist the Manager and Senior Manager in ensuring the team is operating effectively and client deliverables are met in a high quality and timely manner
  • Prepare/review monthly, quarterly and semiannual management accounts and financial statements for a portfolio of fund clients, in accordance with GAAP (IFRS, FRS 102)
  • Manage, motivate, train and develop junior members of the team whether in Guernsey or outsourced
  • Take responsibility for the quality of output of deliverables
  • Planning of annual audits and liaise with clients to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations and advisers reports and other relevant information
  • Review work performed by members of the team and provide regular feedback and training, if applicable
  • Oversee the preparation of carried interest and other calculations in accordance with the fund documentation
  • Ensure that the calculations and monitoring of capital adequacy of licensed entities is correct
  • You may be required to act as a signatory
  • Perform other duties to support senior management and team as may be necessary from timetotime
  • Work closely with colleagues working in the Administration and Company Secretarial functions

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar
