We're Hiring
Lime Recruit is currently looking for a
Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant.

The role will be within a destination restaurant, with a first class rating, in a Georgian Inn located in an idyllic village on the Berkshire/Oxon boarder.

The Role
As the Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Assistant you will report directly to the Head Chef.

You will be required to take ownership of your duties, completing tasks, organise and receive deliveries and arrange for all kitchen cleaning including washing pots and dishes.

You will also work with the head chef on food preparation.

The Package:

40 hours/week
Catering experience not essential as training will be provided
Own transport would be an advantage as the site is rural

The Role

Washing Up crockery, cutlery, pots & pans
Sweeping & mopping
Taking out bins
Storing and checking deliveries and distributing ingredients
Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads.

Do you have the ability to communicate with Head Chefs and other kitchen staff? Do you possess good attention to detail? Do you have a knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations?
