Role and Responsibilities

To carry out rounds of the plant and equipment and report all defects.
To train as the Assistant Team Leader and carry out their duties in their absence.
Be authorised to accept Permits to Work.
Carry out mechanical and electrical isolations under the direction of the Team Leader.
Carry out checks of safety equipment.
Carry out maintenance and repair work in accordance with risk assessments and method statements.

Preferred Skills

Previous operations experience in a steam or gas plant
Knowledge of Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out systems
Carried out mechanical/electrical maintenance

Working pattern:
12 hour day shifts - 4 days on and 4 days off.
