CK Group are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist - Biocatalysis, to join a biotechnology company based in London on a permanent basis.


The Company:


Our client is on a mission to transform industrial chemical processes using cell-free biomanufacturing to empower users with the world's most advanced, flexible and easily-scalable biocatalyst platform.


Benefits:

Salary between £40.000-£50.000 depending on experience, plus benefits including 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and stock options plan.


Role:


As an Analytical Chemist, you will be develop, deliver and enable others to capture high quality free enzyme and immobilized enzyme assay data.

Your contributions will be essential in helping our client assemble scientific insights that are essential for makingkey scientific and business decisions, and how they further develop their technology.

Automation of assays is important and you will work closely with our automation specialists to help translate manual operations onto liquid handling platforms.


  • 23 years' experience in developing and executing enzyme assays.
  • HPLC and plate reader experience and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent document and presentation skills.
