Accounts Assistant - Part-time

About us:

Nestled in one of the most beautiful corners of the South Lakes, Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications Ltd. are a steel fabrication company based in Ulverston.

Our services include the design engineering, fabrication, supply, and installation of a wide variety of structural steelwork, plant, and buildings as well as bespoke fabrication projects.

Due to the growth of the company, we are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant.

This is a part time role, hours to be arranged between hours per week, we are flexible with the hours.

You will be working at our head office, in Ulverston, Cumbria.

Duties include:

Processing of cash and bank transactions
Processing credit card transactions
Liaising with our Operation Staff
Production of invoices and credit notes and ensuring the appropriate VAT treatment has been applied
Assist with credit control activity including producing statements, reminder letters and other required tasks
Assist staff with the invoicing process and to investigate and resolve queries raised by staff and customers
Responsible for maintaining and updating customer details on the Sales Ledger
Assist with processing credit card transactions
