Salary:
up to £42,000 + Performance-Related Bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible working options available
What is the Role?
We have an opportunity for a Resourcing Consultant to join our team to support our SSEN Distribution (SSEN) business.
In this role, you'll be a true resourcing partner to our SSEN business, which powers 3.9 million homes and businesses in communities across central southern England and the north of Scotland.
Our team of more than 3,500 people keep customers connected to a safe and reliable supply of electricity whilst developing the flexible networks that are vital to achieving net zeroIn this role you will:
- Be accountable for the delivery of the full endtoend inclusive recruitment, selection and offer processes.
- Use your knowledge and experience to develop close relationships with stakeholders, ensuring they remain engaged and involved in recruitment activities.
- Deliver firstclass experiences throughout the process whilst putting safety, fairness and inclusion at the heart of all you do.
- Support hiring managers in shortlisting and assessment tools, leading to robust hiring decisions.
- Focus on continuous improvement, looking for ways to improve our processes, services, systems and technology to drive a better recruitment experience for all.
What do I need?
We have a great team from a variety of backgrounds, and we're looking to bring in another positive team player, who is proactive and delivery focussed.
We'd also love you to have:
- Experience of recruiting within a technical sector such as engineering or IT.
- A true partnering approach, with the credibility and expertise to provide advice and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Knowledge of a variety of recruitment tools, techniques and technologies e.g. social media, LinkedIn.
- The ability to flex your style according to the level or type of role being recruited for.
- A sense of pride in your work and the level of service you provide, as well as a willingness to support with recruitmentrelated projects.
