The Mosaic Practice have an exciting opportunity available for a
Specialist Speech and Language Therapistto join our team based in the
Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area
.You will join us on a
full time (Flexible hours), permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£33,706 - £40,588per annum.
We are a highly specialist assessment and treatment centre for children with complex and profound communication and neurological difficulties. Our focus is to provide bespoke treatment to support individuals and families to enhance their communication.

Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will be able to manage your own caseload of children with complex needs.

Responsibilities as ourSpecialist Speech and Language Therapistwill include:

  • Delivering specialist speech and language therapies to clients
  • Using expert knowledge of standardised and informal assessment tools to aid diagnosis and explore possible alternative communication systems as required
  • Implementing and evaluating specialist AAC therapy and programmes of care for clients with a wide range of complex speech, language and communication difficulties
  • Identifying alternative methods of communication using AAC tools and strategies

What we are looking for in our idealSpecialist Speech and Language Therapist:

  • A qualification in Speech and Language therapy
  • The ability to work with a range of communication systems including high and low tech communication and switches
  • The ability to adapt your approach to individual children's needs
  • An awareness of the cognitive capabilities associated with a range of disorders
  • Knowledge of muscular disorders
  • A full UK driving licence and own your own car
