Tezlom are looking to recruit a
Team Leader for our client in
Ingleton Our client is a Children's Residential Support provider who also have a school. The homes and schools are all located in central areas around Lancashire. Our client offer support to
children and young people aged 8-18 who have
Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum as well as complex health care needs and physical disabilities.


As Team Leader, you will be given lead responsibility for specific tasks in the leadership and management of the home.

The core purpose of your role is to assist the Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure, consistent and supportive environment for young people in the home.


It is
required to have a minimum of 2 year's experience in a care setting and team leadership, and preferably an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care - Children and Young People or be willing to complete within 2 years of commencing post.

Roles and Responsibilities:_

  • You will lead and supervise care staff daytoday, working alongside them
  • Complete regular staff appraisals
  • Take responsibility for case managing residents, liaising with families, health professionals to ensure the highest quality care plans are created and delivered
  • To attend review and planning meetings to provide information and achieve the best outcome for young people
  • Provide supervision and support to staff in line with Children's Homes Regulations
  • Ensure young people are safe guarded as appropriate
  • Complete spot checks
  • Share oncall duties on a monthly rota
  • Share sleepin and working online duties on a monthly rota
  • Create and promote opportunities for each young person to have regular contact with and visits from parents, guardians, relatives and friends
  • Ensure there is good communication between members of care team, both facetoface contact as well as through handover and other meetings

£24,850.00-£28,000.00 per year
