As part of an ongoing drive to ensure learners receive outstanding GCSE and Functional Skills maths provision, Solihull College and University Centre is seeking an hourly paid teacher to deliver maths.

We are looking for someone who will work alongside the Maths Team in:

  • Providing innovative, outstanding, and engaging teaching, learning and assessment of Maths
  • Ensuring progress of all learners from starting points, high quality assessment, feedback and attainment
  • Recognising the demands of delivering maths to learners who may have been out of education for a number of years


Delivery will be at our Woodlands Campus currently on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning, however further hours may be available.


You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Maths or higher and ideally possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (or higher) or be prepared to work towards a relevant qualification.


For the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College's premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
