    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with a fantastic school in Pembroke. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude towards working with students with diverse learning needs and excellent communication skills.

    About the Role

    As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them access the curriculum effectively. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide both in-class and one-to-one support, ensuring that all students can reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting Students with SEN: Assist students with a range of learning needs, including those with SEN and additional support requirements.
    • Providing Individual or Small Group Support: Provide individual or small group support both inside and outside the classroom to help students develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.
    • Collaborating with Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans for students and monitor student progress.
    • Emotional or Behavioural Support: Help students with tasks, organization, and emotional or behavioural support.
