We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to participate in our 2-3-year apprentice programme to gain a Diploma (NVQ) in Wood Machining.

What you can expect:

Rates of pay higher than national minimum apprenticeship rate;
Working hours 38.5 per week (Monday to Friday);
Onthejob training;
Accredited training leading to a qualification;
Personal skills development;
Your own personal mentor.

You will learn how to:

Xcut Timber to desired lengths;
Saw timber to required sizes;
Produce mouldings to detailed customer drawings.

What we're looking for:

A National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English is preferable, however, more importantly, you will have a passion for learning, a desire to work in a practical hands-on role, a great work ethic and a real can-do approach to everything you do.
