Healthcare Assistant - Complex care (Adult)

Location - Sidmouth, Devon

Pay - £ £22.00 per hour

Shifts - 12 Hour Shifts

Driver's required - Over 25 years of age and have a current UK driver's licence

An amazing opportunity has arisen in Sidmouth for carer's as OneCall24 Healthcare are looking to recruit a team of carer's to work with a client who is an incredible gentleman who has a spinal injury which caused the him to suffer with Autonomic Dyslexia.

When working with our client you will definitely learn a lot as he loves to teach people about this condition.

This role will involve overseeing health-related tasks throughout the day and night.

We want our carer's to be able to deliver person centered care in line with a personalized care plan created specifically to meet the needs of our individual clients.

You will be fully supported by our highly skilled Nurse Managers, who are on hand to support and guide all of staff, to ensure the highest standards of care and an excellent pathway of professional development.

Be open to the idea of flexibility within the package regarding some longer paid breaks but also occasional earlier starts, later finishes and 'long days' with flexibly timed breaks.

Also, be open to attending overnight stays in the UK (including for respite) and going on holiday abroad with the client and his wife.

Travel and accommodation will be provided and paid for by client.

You'll gain experience in performing bowel care as per gold standard in clients with spinal cord lesions, by digital stimulation.
