About The Role:

We're recruiting for a
Control Room Coordinator - 12 Month FTC to join our Operational Support Control Room (OSCR) team covering maternity leave.

This role will require you to work from the Control Room which is based near
Bicester. It is essential that you hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle.

  • This exciting, fastpaced role will require you to work within a shift pattern that includes periodic halfday Saturday shifts. In this position you can expect to ensure the Logistics and Security Strategy for EKFB is adhered to and provide guidance to the business and stakeholders on all relating areas.
  • You'll be responsible for the daytoday management of the VMBS system, ensuring that all are informed and receiving accurate and timely information. You will also be the primary point of contact between all internal and external stakeholders for all communications.
  • The role requires you to manage the reporting and recording of system issues and you will liaise directly with the software supplier to provide speedy resolutions to issues. Collaboration will be required with subcontractors and other stakeholders to develop the most efficient, effective and usable electronic booking, tracking and reporting solution to support our project.
  • It is essential that you ensure the business complies with regulations, and update the policies and processes when required to maintain records. You'll also be responsible for implementing, maintaining and developing policies and processes to ensure the Logistics and Security Team is effective and efficient whilst concurrently educating staff with industry concepts.
  • You will be heavily involved in the development of new software to support our construction delivery, testing scripts, identifying issues and writing and delivering training to the business. You will manage the 'Kiosk Devices' and provide offsite support to related hardware.
  • We expect you to attend, and add value to meetings with internal and external stakeholders during system rollout and delivery.

About You:

***- Experience in Software User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Experience in Construction Logistics; FMCC Logistics; Blue Light Services; Public Services Logistics or Control Room Operations
  • Able to create and implement KPIs
  • A problem solver
  • Excellent O365 knowledge
  • Able to build effective working relationships
  • Desirable experience in Fleet Operations; Road Operations; Overseeing Contract Delivery; Security Operations; Analytics
  • You must hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle
  • As part of the Client's commitment to up skilling professionals, you will either hold or work towards an appropriate nationally recognised standard endorsed by a relevant professional body
