NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles.

This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, with the hours varying between 8.30am-8pm.

This post requires a Disclosure Scotland check.

This post requires an SVQ qualification or equivalent.


This post provides an excellent opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to work within the exciting Sexual and Reproductive Health Department at Sandyford.

The post holder will support the interdependent team providing Sexual and Reproductive Health.

You will provide chaperoning and assisting with procedures, perform sexual health screening, preparing specimens and transporting them to the laboratory.

You will also have the opportunity to work in a team to administer/supply vaccinations/medication following appropriate training.
The post also involves preparing and stocking of clinical rooms and ensuring smooth running of the clinical service.

You will be expected to work across the Sandyford Greater Glasgow and Clyde geographical area. This post will provide cover across all Sandyford sites so will involve travel to various locations.
