About the role


EssenceMediacom's Global Investment team delivers work across an impressive global client base including The Coca Cola Company, Adidas, Mars, Google, Bayer and Sky to name a few.

The exciting and dynamic list enables our Global Investment unit to drive Best in class value and KPI evolution to deliver our clients' investment goals.

In this role, you will be working across several of the world's largest advertisers including Adidas, Airbnb, and Bayer. This allows for exposure to several methodologies and investment management programmes.

Supported by GroupM, you will be involved in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across these truly global clientele to deliver their transformation goals.


You will be joining a team to support the stewarding and delivery of our clients' global value commitments and reporting this analysis to your line manager and other senior members of the team.

As part of the wider market-leading Global Investment unit, supported by GroupM, this position offers several opportunities for future career growth and development across client work and projects at EssenceMediacom.

The role will report into a Manager or Associate Director and involves frequent exposure to senior members of the team and media auditors


Specific responsibilities

  • Tracking yearonyear media buying performance and efficiencies vs. targets using our proprietary tools across all media (emphasis on TV and Digital) and for a variety of markets for a number of clients.
  • Working with local market teams to ensure they understand our commitments, buying measurement methodology and the savings calculation process.
  • Taking delivery responsibility for a number of markets, building up a comprehensive knowledge of how media is traded in each country and liaising with local colleagues to understand specific factors affecting their ability to meet the delivery target.
  • Developing knowledge of how media buying, and performance tracking works and the various methodologies used to track and quantify savings delivery.
  • Multi market key media performance data collection, cleansing and assimilation.
  • Generating ad hoc reports and regular reporting documents, including market intelligence development project and media market health assessment, if and as required
  • Contributing to new business projects, if and as required

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years' experience gained in either an investment/accountability department, media agency buying department or media auditor
  • Strong numerical skills and comfortable dealing with large data sets.
  • Proactive and a selfstarter
  • Patience, resilience and the ability to get the job done.
  • Possess strong Excel skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An interest in working globally across international markets: appreciates and recognises cultural sensitivities and adopts their approach accordingly.
